Sandra received a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. She believes that seeking therapy is a courageous and valuable step toward caring for yourself. Her aim is to provide a safe space where you can feel comfortable being your authentic self. Ultimately, she hopes to help you lighten the burdens, shame, and fears that trauma may have caused, offering you the opportunity for healing and growth.

Sandra started her social work career in the non-profit sector, helping underserved teenagers in the greater Orlando area. She has experience working in community mental health, private practice, and individual and couple’s/family counseling.

Throughout her career, Sandra has much experience counseling those with Autism, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and PTSD. Sandra believes you already possess many of the resources you need; therapy simply provides guidance in helping you access and utilize them more effectively to realize your fullest potential.

She incorporates a variety of techniques with the aim of supporting clients in developing coping skills while they explore and embrace their authentic selves. Sandra uses trauma-focused therapy techniques, such as EMDR, to assist in healing any wounds from the inner child. Above all, Sandra’s intention is to create a warm and supportive environment where you feel comfortable connecting with and nurturing your inner self at a pace that feels right for you.

Outside of the office, Sandra enjoys artistic hobbies and soaking up the sun at many of Florida’s beaches.
