  • For therapy sessions we accept cash and credit cards, including FSA/HSA cards. We can also accommodate payments via Venmo. All payments are due on the date of service.

    All Gather classes and groups are paid online at the time of booking via Stripe on the booking website.

  • Initial visits are typically 60 minutes. Follow-up individual therapy sessions usually last 50-55 minutes.

    Play therapy sessions for children may be shorter, depending on the child’s ability to engage.

    Family therapy sessions may extend beyond an hour, depending on the needs of the family.

    Most Gather classes and groups run for about one hour, though workshop lengths may vary. Exact duration will be listed at the time of booking.

  • Your provider will take the time to understand your background and needs, helping to tailor the best approach for you. Our clinicians will ask about your reasons for seeking therapy and the goals you'd like to work toward. We strive to keep things friendly and relaxed, knowing that starting therapy can sometimes feel intimidating.

  • We believe counseling is most effective when we begin with weekly sessions, as this consistency helps us make progress toward your goals more efficiently. For some, more frequent meetings may be helpful, while others prefer monthly check-ins or as-needed sessions after an initial period of weekly counseling. We'll always collaborate with you to ensure the frequency of our sessions is aligned with your needs and progress.

  • The length of treatment varies based on your specific concerns and goals. Some individuals may benefit from brief therapy, which could last just a few sessions, while others may engage in longer-term therapy for several months or even years. Together with your provider, you'll decide on a treatment plan that feels right for you and is clinically appropriate.

  • We require a 24-hour notice to change or cancel a scheduled counseling appointment. Missed appointments will result in a $100 no-show fee.

    Group bookings are non-refundable, but you may transfer your spot to another available class time with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Yes, we offer secure video counseling for clients who prefer the convenience of remote sessions. If you're interested in virtual counseling, you can discuss this with your provider during your initial in-person consultation.

  • Gather at Eden is a series of online, drop-in groups for preteens and teens—led by therapists and designed to help kids build confidence, connect with others, and express themselves through creative, low-pressure activities. It’s a supportive space where participation is voluntary, fun is encouraged, and mental wellness is always at the heart.
