This week: Participants will use recycled and found materials (like cardboard, paper rolls, bottle caps, and fabric scraps) to design and build their own imaginary animal—real or made-up! They’ll get to think about where it lives, what it eats, and what makes it special.
Suggested Materials:
Cardboard scraps, toilet paper rolls, boxes
Tape, glue, scissors
Fabric scraps, string, buttons, bottle caps
Markers, crayons, or paint
Optional: printed animal photos for inspiration
Join us to create cool animal-inspired art using recycled materials! This group is all about exploring your feelings, telling stories, and finding calm through art and animals. We’ll do fun projects, learn about animals and what they can teach us, and share ideas in a relaxed, supportive space. No art experience needed—just bring your imagination and open mind!
This is a weekly group led by Jessica Bradbury.
Cost: $10
Ages: Preteens / Tweens (Grades ~5–8 or Ages ~10–13)
